As a graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School, I headed to Denver to study Hotel and Restaurant Management at Metro State University. I managed several top Denver restaurants, including one featuring live opera and exceptional cuisine, before moving into hotel management in Florida. A proud Colorado native, I returned home to Cortez in 2015 and joined The Farm Bistro in early 2016, supporting our community with fresh, farm-to-table dining. I love volunteering, promoting our local culture, and enjoying all the Southwest has to offer—hiking, biking, paddleboarding, skiing, gardening, and relaxing in our beautiful hot springs. I’m also a proud “Mimi” to my grandson, who loves it here as much as I do.
